0000FLYEYE

0000FLYEYE is a tribute to the legacy and vision of R. Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller. Inspired by Buckminster Fuller’s iconic “Fly’s Eye” dome, 0000FLYEYE is a geodesic polyhedron-based structure floating timelessly in a transparent resin globe.

0000FLYEYE gives people the opportunity to engage with this piece of geometric history in a unique and intimate way. The transparent resin globe encases the structure in its own world where light refracts through each of the windows (or “occuli”). Internal refraction and external reflection transform the environment into an infinity of shifting visuals.

0000FLYEYE is presented in a Limited Edition collaboration with TASCHEN’s ongoing encyclopedia series, The Library Esoterica – in celebration of their latest release, Vol. V: Sacred Sites.

Taking us on a journey through the visual history of art and architecture, Sacred Sites explores the ways we imbue our environments with profound and enduring meaning.
